Attractive business cards, like yours, lock-up carbon. People will keep them for perhaps as long as 10 years, holding that carbon as solid form rather than gaseous carbon dioxide. If the business card is kept at home, then it is more likely to be recycled at the end of it storage; recycled card saves energy and saves the next generation of trees being felled.
